Executive Team Continues to Expand as National Focus on Indoor Air Quality Grows and Sales of Air Purification Technology Increase
Dunedin, FL – The nation’s leading air purification company – SecureAire Technologies, LLC – has named Ben Rizzo, a successful entrepreneur and Harvard MBA graduate, as its new Chief Executive Officer. SecureAire’s leadership team has significantly expanded over the past two years as the COVID pandemic has brought more national focus to indoor air quality and sales of cutting-edge ACTIVE Particle Control Technology have increased. Prior to joining SecureAire, Rizzo founded Hartwood Point a direct private investment firm and was President of Hadfield Elevator LLC.
“Ben Rizzo has an impressive history of helping companies quickly grow their customer base and revenue – we are thrilled to welcome him to the SecureAire team,” said Frank Stamatatos, President of SecureAire Technologies. “Rizzo has the vision and experience to lead our continued expansion across the U.S. and help us further capitalize on the growth we’ve seen over the past two years.”
In addition to founding Hartwood Point, Rizzo was President of Hadfield Elevator LLC, where he led the company’s transformational growth and eventual sale to Berkshire Partners owned 3 Phase Elevator. Rizzo previously co-founded Exero Labs where he successfully raised seed funding from angel investors to develop specialized head safety technology and obtain a patent. He began his career as a Production Engineer for Shell. In addition to an MBA from Harvard Business School, Rizzo has received an MS in Technology Commercialization from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Following a multimillion-dollar capital raise at the end of 2020, SecureAire has made several senior hires, including Dr. Mark Ereth of the Mayo Clinic as Chief Medical Officer, Puneet Sapra as Chief Operating Officer, Kathy Parry as Vice President of Commercial Sales, and Mark Mastroianni as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
